Arm splint H3

1. Functions:

- Fix 1/3 bone under forearm, arm and elbow joint.

2. Indications:

- First aid and immobilize the broken bones, sprains at the position of 1/3 forearms, arms and elbow joints.

- Fix under bone tissue, upper limb joint after injury.

- Fix elbow joint.

3. Materials:

- Knitted fabric, non-woven fabric, mesh fabric.

- Velcro lock, aluminum splint.

4. Preservation:

- Putting in dry place.

- Washing by hands with soap and water, drying in cool place.

- Do not wash and dry by washing machine (No using bleach).

5. Instructions:

- Posture of patients: sitting, letting injured arm to the front in angle, thumb up.

- Splint check:Take the splint out of the bag, check the straps in open position.

Step1:Bend the splint following the angle of injured arm.

Step 2: Put the splint on the back of the elbow joint. Bend two sides of splint close to hand, wrist and arm.

Step3:Fix the splint from wrist to forearm to arm with the short strap.

Step4: Cross the 2 longest straps to immobilize elbow joint. The level of immobilization should be from loose to tight, make sure that it is tight enough but not hurt or block the blood flow.
