Colles splint

1. Features:

- The colles splint is made of aluminum, with a soft foam inside. This is      very comfortable for patients, which is designed in accordance with       the surgery and laminated to allow precise positioning.

- The splint is designed to fit the shape of arms and hands in all positions.

- Ventilations provides air circulation which helps patients feel comfortable.

2. Indications:

- Use for supporting hands before surgeries.

- Injured wrists, dislocations, sprains.

3. Materials:

- Made of special aluminum alloy.

- Soft and breathable foam.

4. Preservations:

-  Putting in dry place.

-  Washing by hands with soap and water, drying in cool place.

-  Do not wash and dry by washing machine (No using bleach).

5. Instructions:

Consulting doctors before using.

Patients position: lying or sitting.

Splint check: Choose the suitable size of brace, the same size with the injured hand of patients. Take the splint out of bag, check it and keep it in right position.

Place hands in comfortable position along with the curvature of the splint.

  Step 1: Put the hand into the splint with the correct direction.   

  Step 2: Keep the splint neatly, use adhesive tape to fix the splint in order to     make it to be consistent with hand.
