1. Functions:
- Support and fix wrist joint.
2. Indications:
- Light wrist injury , wrist sprains.
- Support after operation, cast in plaster.
- Wrist or hands area arthritis.
3. Materials:
- Duo-tension elastic.
- Velcro lock.
- Aluminium splint.
4. Preservation:
- Putting in dry place.
- Washing by hands with soap and water, drying in cool place.
- Do not wash and dry by washing machine (No using bleach).
5. Instructions for use:
- Posture of patient: Sitting and lying, hand face up.
- Check splint: Choose splint with the same size and side for injured arm. Take the splint out of the bag, check and let the straps in open position.
- Use Velcro lock to fix splint tightly to wrist then forearm and hand.
- Check again the tightness of each strap, make sure that it is tight enough without pain or blocking blood flow.
